The Window Story - A Bible Illustration Author Unknown A young couple moved into a new neighborhood. The next morning while they are eating breakfast, the young woman saw her neighbor hanging the wash outside. "That laundry is not very clean," she said. "She doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap." Her husband looked on, but remained silent. Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry, the young woman would make the same comments.

Footprints in the Sand
One night I dreamed a dream. As I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, One belonging to me and one to my Lord. After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints.

The Shoe Man By Leanne Freiberg My alarm went off It was Sunday again. I was sleepy and tired My one day to sleep in. But the guilt I would feel The rest of the day Would have been too much So I'd go and I'd pray. I showered and shaved I adjusted my tie. I got there and sat In a pew just in time. Bowing my head in prayer As I closed my eyes. I saw the shoe of the man next to me Touching my own. I sighed. With plenty of room on either side I thought, "Why must our soles touch?" It bothered me, his shoe touching mine But it didn't bother him much.

Sinful hearts are like minds enraptured The oars are heavy, they row in vain. Captivated by the currents of their hearts imagination. Their imagination floats adrift. On vessels bound for Egypt.
