  My Worst Christmas Ever Pastor Darius Walden Southwest Christian Center DECEMBER 3, 2021 During the War Between the States, Henry Woodsworth Longfellow wrote “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day.” For Longfellow, the war was very personal. He was an abolitionist, and despite this, his son Charley joined the Union Army. Merely a year before, Longfellow had lost his wife in a tragic fire; she had accidently lit herself on fire. Now with his son in the war, before Christmas of 1863, Charley lost his leg in battle. Longfellow’s testimony in the poem was that hearing the bells of the church that day transformed him from despair to hope. In 1990 Faith and I lived in Ft.Riley, Kansas. I was a Sergeant in the Signal Battalion. Desert Shield was already engaged, and Desert Storm was on the horizon. On December 22 of that year, we were deployed to the Persian Gulf.  Blind - Mute and Disabled Dream 11/25/2021  (Amazing Dream Experience) Randall Nelsen/Linn Tryt I was in a school classroom. I think it was an elementary school but I can't say for sure. I was in a clasroom with many school kids. I was mute, blind,  and disabled, but I could see myself from my own perspective. I was a young male teenager with dirty blond hair, (I am guessing his/my age).  I  noticed that I appeared a little older than the other students. It was very surreal because I was him but I maintained my own faculties and knowledge. I could think and see with my normal mind, yet all my feelings and nonverbal emotions were experienced from his perspective. For a few seconds I saw my dream self as if I was sitting across from myself. I watched the scene unfold like a short movie clip. I was a young male teen with no eyes sitting in a classroom at his school desk. I tried to speak but only distorted sounds came out of my mouth. It was very frustrating because I could think and
