I always enjoyed looking at Sand Castles. When I was a kid my parents had a place in San Clemente a small Oceanside town in Southern California. My Family owned a small condo, it had a balcony that overlooked the beach and ocean. I used to sit out on our balcony overlooking the shoreline and enjoy the sights and sounds of the sea.
I would watch the locals surf, or play volleyball on the beach. They also used to have an Annual Sandcastle competition and we would always go and check it out when we were in town. The Sandcastles people built were amazing. All of the competitors put enormous amounts of work into every sandcastle. There was every kind of castle you could imagine, and they were lifesize. Some were as big as a kids playhouse. You might be wondering why is he talking about Sandcastles? You might be thinking okay, whats the point. This is the point, you see no matter how awesome these Sandcastles were, at the end of the day they were swept away by the waves of the sea. This is how it is for people who build their Sandcastles of Earthly instead of Heavenly materials. In other words It doesn't really matter how much or what kind of material wealth you gain in this Life. Money,Fame,Popularity, anything you desire, at the end of the day when we pass away these are all castles made of sand. They have no longevity, they are swept away with the tides of time. The Bible says For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also Luke 12:34 . If we Treasure earthly things then we only gain earthly Treasure, but if we treasure Heavenly things we shall gain a Heavenly incorruptible Treasure from our Father in Heaven. Matthew 6:19 says this, Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. When we set are hearts on this world, and the things in it, we are building castles in the sand. We need to change our focus so that we can gain an everlasting Castle in Heaven . Jesus tells us about our future home in heaven. We can have this wonderful place if we accept him as our Lord and Saviour, and serve him all of our days. Here is another scripture that tells us what the Lord has in store for those who Love Him, In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you John 14:2 Nasb. I encourage you to really think about this, ask yourself, am I building an everlasting castle in Heaven. If you dont know the Lord, all you have to do is ask him to come into your heart, and be your Lord and saviour. John 3:16 says this, For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. His sons name is Jesus Christ. He died for everyone, and all you have to do is ask him into your heart believe that he died on the cross for your sins. What he has done will give you eternal life. Get your hands on a Bible and start reading it God will speak to you. Pray to him each day and ask him to lead and guide you. If you have any questions or need Prayer contact me on Facebook God Bless you Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
24 "Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.25And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.26And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.27And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it."MATT 7:24-27

Spiritual Nuggets Endure Hardship as a Good Soldier of Christ (2 Timothy 2:14) Daily Devotional for Thursday, September 19, 2024 In life, we all face challenges and hardships. Paul’s words to Timothy remind us that, just like soldiers, we must stay strong and focused. We are called to endure difficulties for the sake of Christ, keeping our eyes on Him and not getting sidetracked by the worries of the world. In 2 Timothy 2:14, Paul writes "You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier." — 2 Timothy 2:14 (NASB) Practical Takeaway: Stay Strong in God's Grace Paul encourages ...
The Attributes of God - God's Grace (Part 1) A Journey into the Father's Heart, Volume 1 By A.W. Tozer Pg 100-103 (Grace: The Only Means of Salvation) Here are two important truths, and I want you to take them to heart. The first truth is that no one ever was saved, no one is now saved, and no one ever will be saved except by grace. Before Moses, nobody was ever saved except by grace. During Moses's time, nobody was ever saved except by grace. After Moses, before the cross, and after the cross—during any dispensation, anywhere, anytime—nobody was ever saved in any other way than by grace. The second truth is that grace always comes by Jesus Christ. The law was given by Moses, but grace came by Jesus Christ. This does not mean that before Jesus was born of Mary, there was no grace. God dealt in grace with mankind, looking forward to the incarnation and death of Jesus before Christ came. Now that He has come and gone to the Father's right hand, God looks back upon the cro...
