Message - Hide & Seek

Have You ever played hide and seek when you were a child ? Do you remember how you would try and find a hiding place, that nobody would think of ? You would hide under a bed or behind the couch, or maybe you hid behind some old clothes in a dark closet. You thought that they would never find you. Sometimes they never would find you, and others times you were caught.But even if you were never found ,you had to eventually get up and come out of your hiding place.
Some of you know the Lord , and you are a christian, but you are trying to play hide and seek with God. You are hiding some things.You think that he does'nt see you, or what you are doing. Others are holding onto some things in their Heart, things that they need to let go of. It could be Anger, Unforgiveness, Lust, Jealousy or anything. These things are the sins that we hide in our hearts and they need to come out. Some of you think that you can live however you want,  and that God either does'nt see or doesnt care about what you are doing. The truth is that he sees all the hidden things, thoughts, motives, and the desires of our heart. Hebrews 4:12-13 For the Word of God is Quick and Powerful, and sharper than any two-edged Sword,piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight:but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. So Brothers and Sisters I encourage you to consider everything that you do and  all that you choose to keep in your heart, because someday we will all kneel before the Lord and  give account for every thought and deed recorded in his book. Everything that we have done in our lives will be weighed and Judged. The good  news is that if you have Jesus Christ in your Heart then there is no condemnation. You will not be judged with those who are lost, only the quality of your work shall be judged. Cor 3:11-15 KJV For no other foundation can no man lay than that is laid , which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones ,wood,hay,stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest for the day shall declare it,because it shall be revealed by fire;and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.If any man's work shall be burned,he shall suffer loss:but he himself shall be saved:yet so as by fire. What kind of materials are your house built of ?You are the house so be careful how you build your house. Every house should be built upon the foundation of Jesus Christ. Use Strong Materials so that your house will stand. Dont put things into your house that would displease, or grieve the Holy Spirit within you. A Good material is obedience to the Word of God, it is to Repent and turn from our old ways of doing things and all sin. You are the House, and the temple of the Holy Spirit. Do not let the dog,walk into your House and bring in the filth of sin. Guard the door of your heart which is the entrance to your house, lock it and allow only the things of God to enter. Please do not strive against the Lord. Do not fight his will like I foolishly did and took a Dark path for many years even after i was saved. Do not harden your heart like Pharoah did.  The Lord  God Struck him Time after time with the Plagues but he would not listen so the Lord took his firstborn son. Choose you this day life and not Death, Blessings and not curses. It is never to late to turn around, as long as you have breath in your lungs. Just do a Uturn, surrender your life to Jesus Christ, invite him into your Heart and watch him change your Life. If you would like the free gift of Salvation just ask Jesus to come into your heart right now. Ask him to forgive all of your sins and Believe and know that he died on the cross for all of your sins, and that he rose to eternal life on the third day. Jesus will come into your heart and change you. Get a Bible and start reading it on a regular basis, ask the lord in prayer to help you. You are a Christian if you have sincerely done this. We cannot change ourselves, read your Bible and ask the Lord to change you. Ask the Lord to help you find a church to attend and turn away from the known sins in your life. A christian is not something that we act like, it is a way of Life.
