Message - Vessels of Honor - Stacey Cormier - 2 Tim 2:20-21
VESSELS OF HONOR
In a wealthy home some utensils are made of gold and silver, and some are made of wood and clay. The expensive utensils are used for special occasions, and the cheap ones are for everyday use. If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.

Theology - Born Again - RANDALL NELSEN (Updated 10-24-13)
Water Washes the outside of the Cup, but only the Holy Spirit can wash the inside, which is the heart of man. - Randall Nelsen
If water baptism is an essential component of Salvation then Grace becomes works and then it becomes dependent on an act of man in addition to the,"Redemptive work" that Jesus fully accomplished with the blood he shed on the cross. We must be baptized Jesus commands us to, but water baptism is not the same thing as the redemptive act of being born again through the baptism of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Jesus speaks of Spiritual rebirth, which is also the same as being born again. Being born again is a prerequisite for eternal salvation. Water baptism is very important and we should do it as he commands us to. 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 22 NKJV
22 And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said: 2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, 3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come. 4 Again,
he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I
have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.”’ 5 But they made light of it and went their

Forgiveness
When you forgive someone you rob bitterness of
its power.Bitterness is like the bite of a snake, it fills a persons
heart with poison. If a person chooses to forgive someone who has
wronged them, then they can receive the antidote for their
bitterness. Sometimes the antidote takes time to work its way through
us, because it is a process. Sometimes time itself is insufficient for a
cure, and it still requires the work of Christ within us to bring about
our healing. In Gods timing all things are possible.

Message True Christianity
Sometimes you will go to church and sometimes you will even actually meet real Christians there. Just because you go to church that doesn't mean that you are a Christian; a genuine Christ follower. Even the Devil himself likes to attend church and inspire False teaching and preaching in the house of God, he loves to masquerade as an angel of light. Many also like to attend church because they do it out of obligation, duty, or religious ceremony, but this is a false way and slippery path.

The Greatest Gift 1 Corinthians Chapter 13 (NKJV)
LOVE
The Greatest Gift
13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of
prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I
have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I
am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, it profits me nothing.
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Spiritual Transformation
Spiritual Truth is not experienced in the dry
theology of head knowledge. Truth that is Spiritual is a Matter of the
Heart. It is first personal, and then it is Transformational. It is the
Spiritual Metamorphosis that is gradually unfolding within our hearts.
God himself the Holy Spirit.
Romans 12:2
New King James Version (NKJV)
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
This Renewing and Transformational Process requires Action. We must read and receive the Word of God. We must daily read the Word of God.

The Rich man and Lazarus
There was a man that gave all he had within himself to God, and he gained Eternal wealth. There was a man who kept all he had within himself and kept only Earthly Riches, for a Time and Season on this Earth. Ask yourself this question which of these two types of people are you.Luke 16:19-31
New King James Version (NKJV)
The Rich Man and Lazarus
19 “There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. 20 But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, 21 desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell[a] from the rich man’s table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ 25 But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. 26 And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’
27 “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, 28 for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’ 29 Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’ 30 And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ 31 But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.’”

Theology - Prophecy - The Holy Spirit and Prophecy - by Randall Nelsen
Theology
"The Nature of Prophecy"
By Randall Nelsen
In
order to comprehend eschatology and prophecy; we must first understand
that they are not comprehended through a persons intellectual
capabilities and perception alone. Prophecy is Divine and where there is
prophetic illumination there is always the revelation of the Holy
Spirit. Pray that the Lord grant you the Wisdom to discern first the
contextual understanding and then the historical and contextual application of the scripture. This understanding is the base and foundation on which you build begin to
build the house of your spiritual perception.Next and more importantly ask that the Lord teach you
the deeper spiritual application of the Word. The Logos is Gods word in
totality, but the Rhema is the word that speaks to you wherever you
are spiritually speaking, or in other words your need at the present time. This Word is unchained and provides us our spiritual sustenance which is our
daily bread, the manna sent from heaven . It is the (Rhema ῥῆμα) of the Logos. the
Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all
things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. - John
14:26
This is a good illustration. Gods Word in totality is the (Logos λόγος) which is like our spiritual toolbox in totality. It is all
of Gods Word, the whole Bible. The Holy Spirit illuminates the specific
word the Rhema to us through the Holy Spirit that dwells within us. This
is the specific divine revelation of the Lord for our situation. This is
the Spiritual tool that God gives us out of his toolbox (the Logos) for
our specific need. This is why you can read the same scripture a
thousand times and on a certain day in a certain need, his Word, speaks
to your heart. This is why i believe it is an error for scholars to
declare that complete understanding is derived only through intellectual in the fields of theology. I am referring to all human based knowledge. The following are just a few examples
1. Biblical Linguistics or Textual Criticism - This includes origin and etymology the study of Hebrew and Greek, Hermeneutics, exposition, Exegesis, and the philosophy of Languages
2. The Study of History - Historical or Sociological methods of interpretation- this includes cultural studies and biblical archeology.
3. All fields or spheres of Systematic Theology
Lets get back to the main topic which is Prophecy. Prophecy
is difficult because of Partial fulfillment. Partial Prophetic Fulfillment means
that prophecy can work or apply to multiple time periods and figures. It can apply to the
specific person or author of the text and also to an event or person that has not yet
occurred. It can also apply to several events, past, present, or future. Prophecy is often
disguised because of symbolism, typology, and its unlimited nature.
Here is an example that Jesus quoted 41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42
saying, “What do you think about the Christ? Whose Son is He?”
43 They said to Him, “The Son of David.”
44 ‘The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”’?[a]
JESUS WAS QUOTING
PSALM 110
The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.
Here we see the fascinating dual nature of Prophecy
David prophesied in psalm 110. Was not God the
father speaking to his son, yet this confounded the pharisees because
they just saw part of the picture the words of King David.
Jesus then explains the Prophetic Picture. Jesus also clearly illustrates the prophetic link between the Old and New testament.
45 If David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his Son?” 46 And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare question Him anymore.

The Good Shepherd - John 10 1-15
The Good Shepherd
10 “Most
assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the
door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” 6 Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them.
Jesus the Good Shepherd
7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who ever came before Me[a] are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. 12 But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. 13 The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. 15 As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. Message - Spiritual Treasure Chests - Randall Nelsen
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:19 -21 NKJV
The Heart of man is like a Spiritual Treasure Chest. The type of of person you are today is directly related to whatever is within your heart and mind. The Bible teaches us that it is not the physical things that we consume that corrupt us, but the spiritual. It is not the kind of food that we eat, or the external things of this world that we use that make us unclean. What God really cares about is the internal condition of our hearts. The thoughts and unseen motivations of the heart are the most important they are the things that need to be dealt with.
Matthew 15:16-20 NKJV
Jesus rebuked the religious leaders because they taught and believed that they were holy because of their strict ritual observances such as dietary laws, and the washing of hands. The truth is that they missed the point. Jesus was teaching them that the heart of man is what needs washing not the hands. He taught them that it is was not the physical food that that makes a person clean or unclean but the spiritual condition of the heart is what defiles a person
This poses a problem for us because the bible also teaches us that the heart is deceitful and full of wickedness.
“The heart is deceitful above all things,
And desperately wicked;
Who can know it?
And desperately wicked;
Who can know it?
Jeremiah 17:9
If this statement is true, and we know it is, then we face a serious problem. The Bible teaches us that our heart is corrupt and evil. How do you wash away an evil heart. Since our heart is where our treasure is then we must make sure that the treasure is good.
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
Matthew 13:44
Jesus is comparing the kingdom of God to a Treasure hidden in a field, but what he says next is a little more obscure. Jesus says that the man hid the treasure and then sold everything he had and purchased the field. It is my belief that what the Lord is saying here is that the man hid the Treasure which is the Kingdom of God in his heart. What this clearly illustrates is that the man accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in other Words he received Salvation. It also explains that the things of this world have no worth in comparison to the priceless Treasure of eternal Life.
What can be the solution to this problem?
